Vintage Omega Swiss Watch, Two-tone black gilt dial, Solid Gold, Pontife Hands, Cal. 30T2 from 1943

This vintage Omega from 1943 features a classic and well-balanced look, highlighted by its two-tone gilt dial and elegant Pontife hands. The lighter outer dial contrasts nicely with the black center, making the gold Arabic numerals and minute markings easy to read. The dial is completely original, although has some imperfections as shown on photos. The sub-seconds register at 6 o’clock adds symmetry and reinforces the watch’s practical, period-correct design.

The watch is housed in a solid 14K gold case measuring 34.5mm × 41mm, with smooth lines and well-shaped lugs that give it a strong yet refined presence on the wrist. At just 9mm thick, it sits comfortably and wears neatly under a cuff. Inside the caseback, the squirrel hallmark confirms the case meets the Swiss legal standard for 14K gold.

Powering the watch is the Omega Caliber 30T2, a manual-wind movement known for its sturdy construction and wide use during the 1940s. The serial number 9575481 dates this watch to 1943.
