Over seventy-plus years, it has oxidized into a deep, mottled "leopard" patina - warm orange and tan, spotted and layered across the surface - the kind of dramatic tropical aging that collectors chase and that no two examples share. On this 1952 Omega, that patina is the whole point.

The case is oversized for its period at 35mm, with sculpted "crab" lugs that give it real presence on the wrist, measuring 43mm lug-to-lug and 10.5mm thick. It's finished in 80-micron gold layer (marked "Plaqué Or 80 Microns"), a heavy, durable gold layer far above standard plating.
