Vintage Omega Art Deco Tank, Tonneau (barrel-shaped) case, Cal. 20F from 1930
This isn’t the first early Omega that stopped us in our tracks — and it likely won’t be the last. But there’s something undeniably special about this Art Deco beauty from 1930. The strikingly rectangular stainless steel case (just a hair slimmer than most at 22mm x 38mm) pairs perfectly with a softly aged silver-tone dial, stylized Art Deco numerals, and an elegant sub-seconds register at 6 o'clock.
One detail worth noting: this reference was built with fixed lugs, a characteristic seen on many early Omega rectangular models. To honor the period style and ensure a proper fit, we’ve paired the watch with a vintage leather strap that complements both the proportions and the spirit of the piece.
Inside, the rare Caliber 20F takes center stage — a beautifully constructed manual-wind movement from Omega’s early mechanical era. Its architecture, finishing, and durability illustrate why these early calibers continue to attract collectors.
If there’s a definition of timeless elegance, this might just be it.
