Vintage Movado Triple Calendar, Ref. 14806, Cal. Movado 470, Oversized 36 mm case from 1940's

This isn’t the first vintage calendar watch that’s caught our eye — but few manage to blend charm and function like this Movado from the 1940s. With its 36 mm stainless steel case and warm, evenly aged dial, it’s a perfect example of how mid-century design meets mechanical ingenuity.

The triple calendar layout is both practical and beautiful, showing the day and month through framed windows, while a red-tipped hand tracks the date around the outer edge. A small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock rounds things out, keeping everything symmetrical and easy to read.

Powering it all is Movado’s in-house Caliber 470 — a manual-wind movement built during the golden age of Swiss watchmaking.
