This elegant rectangular wristwatch from Jaeger-LeCoultre captures the geometric clarity and balanced proportions of Art Deco design in its purest form.
Housed in a 20.4 mm by 38 mm gold-filled case, the watch features bold straight lugs and a stepped rectangular profile—distinctive traits of LeCoultre’s Tank-inspired models from the era. The 14 mm lug width keeps the silhouette refined, while the clean vertical stance gives it excellent wrist presence for its size.
The dial is a standout. With its mirror-polished center rectangle, intricate stepped sub-seconds track, and minimalist mix of square and baton markers, it reflects the restrained elegance typical of 1940s LeCoultre design.
Powering the watch is the manual-wind Calibre 413, a thin and reliable in-house movement that was a workhorse in many of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s rectangular pieces of the period. Known for its stability and slim profile, it makes this watch not just visually striking, but mechanically sound.
