This Doxa Vintage Art Deco Tank blends understated elegance with early technical innovation. Produced in the 1940s, it features a professionally restored black dial with gilt accents — including applied dot markers, sharp dauphine hands, and a prominent “12” at the top. With its curved acrylic crystal and rectangular form, it’s a perfect expression of Art Deco styling.

While this reference is typically seen in gold-plated versions, this example is housed in a rare solid steel case — a significantly less common configuration. The case measures 28 mm × 23 mm, with a lug-to-lug span of 34.5 mm and a thickness of just 9.1 mm, making it refined on the wrist without sacrificing presence. It’s also one of Doxa’s early hermetically sealed cases, designed to offer extra protection for the manual-wind Swiss movement inside. A beautifully balanced piece with enduring style and an uncommon build.
