Vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre Art Deco Tank, Black gilt dial, Gold-filled case from 1940's

This elegant rectangular wristwatch from Jaeger-LeCoultre captures the geometric clarity and balanced proportions of Art Deco design in its purest form. 

Housed in a 20.4 mm by 38 mm gold-filled case, the watch features bold straight lugs and a stepped rectangular profile—distinctive traits of LeCoultre’s Tank-inspired models from the era. The 14 mm lug width keeps the silhouette refined, while the clean vertical stance gives it excellent wrist presence for its size.

The black gilt dial is a standout. Professionally restored, with sub-seconds track, and minimalist mix of square and baton markers, it reflects the restrained elegance typical of 1940s LeCoultre design. 

Powering the watch is the manual-wind Calibre 413, a thin and reliable in-house movement that was a workhorse in many of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s rectangular pieces of the period. Known for its stability and slim profile, it makes this watch not just visually striking, but mechanically sound.
