This early Omega automatic is all about contrast and form. Produced in 1944, this Ref. 2374/5 features a broad 34.5 mm stainless steel case and one of Omega’s earliest self-winding chronometer movements, but what truly catches the eye is the sharp two-tone dial — professionally restored in black and charcoal grey, creating a crisp sector-style layout that feels both mid-century and modern.

Originally launched in the early 1940s, the 2374/5 reference housed some of Omega’s pioneering bumper automatic calibers. The design here is archetypal for the wartime and immediate post-war period: long, tapered lugs, bold Arabic numerals at the poles, and a large sub-seconds register that adds functional charm. Inside ticks the Caliber 30.10 RA PC — a significant movement in Omega's history, as it was among the earliest chronometer-rated automatics from the brand, using the bumper rotor design that defined pre-500 series innovation.
