This remarkable timepiece is a testament to the ingenuity and craftsmanship of the Soviet watch industry during the 1980s. The watch is equipped with the robust mechanical Cal. 3133 movement, a direct descendant of Swiss engineering, yet distinguished by Soviet modifications for enhanced precision, such as an upgraded balance wheel and a higher beat rate.
The stainless steel case, measuring 39 mm in diameter, is complemented by brass elements that add a touch of vintage appeal, signifying the era of its creation. It features a tri-compax chronograph layout with sub-dials that provide stopwatch functionality, a central feature for any timepiece of this caliber. The chronograph is operated by the push-buttons located at the top and bottom right side of the case, with the upper button designed to start and stop the timing function, and the lower button to reset the hands to zero. The middle button, also serving as the crown, is used for winding the watch and setting the time.
Adorning the wrist with a supple leather strap, this Poljot watch is not just a keeper of time, but also a piece of history. The dial, under a crystal clear glass, displays a telemeter scale and bears the marks of time, giving it a unique character that only a true vintage can offer.
