On the 14th April 1892 the Swiss watch company Louis Brandt & Frere registered the name ‘Helvetia’ as one of the brand names for their watches. Two years later in 1894 they also registered the name ‘Omega’ and applied it to a new range of high quality lever movement pocket watches they had developed using cutting edge manufacturing technology. Following the founding of La Générale production of most of Louis Brandt & Frere’s lower quality cylinder watches were moved there including the brands Helvetia, Paradox, Jura, Gurzelen and Cosmopolite.

In the 1940s, this classic timepiece features a modest 35mm case size, showcasing a timeless design that reflects the era's elegance. The mechanical movement, a hallmark of Swiss precision, ensures accurate timekeeping and adds to the vintage charm.

Encased in chrome-plated elegance, this Helvetia watch represents a fusion of style and durability. With its roots deeply embedded in the Swiss watchmaking tradition, this vintage gem is a testament to the meticulous manufacturing that has defined the Helvetia brand over the years.
