This exquisite Nivrel timepiece, originating from the 1930s under the Marvin SA brand for military use, is a testament to the durability and precision needed during tumultuous times. The watch features a well-preserved case measuring 40.5mm in diameter without the crown and 46mm lug to lug, crafted from base metal with a stainless steel back for enhanced resilience. The watch dial has been professionally restored and has been treated with safe lume.

Two versions of the Landeron 47 were made back then and here is the rarer of the two. At its core, the watch operates with the rare Landeron 47 movement, equipped with three chronograph pushers—start, stop, and reset—making it a coveted model among collectors. The unique configuration of the pushers, particularly the reset pusher integrated into the crown, sets this piece apart in the world of vintage military watches.

Recently serviced and in excellent condition, this Nivrel watch combines historical significance with impeccable craftsmanship. Accompanied by a leather strap that emphasizes its vintage appeal, this Swiss-made watch is a remarkable collectible that captures the essence of the 1930s military aesthetics and Swiss precision.
