Vintage Watch "Raketa" Made for Blind People, Braille Watch from Soviet Union
Raketa watch factory is one of the oldest factories in USSR. The factory has worked since 1962. Raketa watches were produced for the Red Army, the Soviet Navy, Cosmonauts, for North Pole expeditions, as well as for civilians.
Throughout the years that it was in existence, the Soviet Union took pride in the ability to provide services to the disabled as well as to the workers. Braille watches are a great illustration of this ethos.
This watch was designed specially for blind and visually impaired people.
