The well known “Molnija” watch factory is located in Chelyabinsk. In 1960-70's “Molnija” watch movements were as high-quality as Swiss movements.
The most successful project of the company was the release of Molnija movement cal.3602, this is the movement that this watch is powered by. It is more than 40 years old, but is still moving well and may work for decades more.
