WW2 Watch «Alpina» Description
Military wrist watch Alpina, the watch was released in Switzerland in the beginning of 1940’s.
The watch is made of strong steel, it has not big case size what makes it very comfortable to wear.
In the wartime small watches were very popular among the soldiers, because they were almost imperceptible on the hand, but their accuracy was the same as accuracy of the big pocket watches.
Pay attention to the dial and how beautiful it has became with time! The black paint on the dial is beautifully corroded after 80 years, this adds a real vintage look to the watch and makes it so unique.
The watch works well despite its age. The watch was serviced by a professional watchmaker in 2022.
The watch movement works on ruby jewels and it has shockproof balance.
